SANFL GRAND FINAL DAY

All at Goodwood Saints FC will be cheering on Ben Ashley-Cooper as his South Adelaide side take on Glenelg in the SANFL Reserves Grand Final today. 'Bash' forced his way into the Panthers side earlier this season and hasn't looked back, but continued to come out to Saints matches, running water, showing support and being a big part of our 2026 squad.

The Reserves match kicks off at 11am, we wish him all the best in the big one today!

Earlier in the morning the SANFL's Draft Class of 2027 will have an opportunity to shine in the U17 Futures match to be played at 9am.

Featuring in this exhibition match are Calvin Jones (West), Ted Seager (West) and Harvey Chapman (Sturt). Dean Hatedakis (West) is sadly missing through injury.

Best of luck to our boys as they showcase their talent on Adelaide Oval.

Tonne up in a GF!

Congratulations to Ewan Kudra-Harding who will play his 100th senior match in tomorrows B grade Grand Final.

'Ewey' came through the juniors at the club making his debut senior debut as a 17YO in the shortened 2020 season before playing nearly every match in 2021 and winning his first premiership.

A hard working inside mid, Ewey distributes the ball well and so often gets the team up and about through his actions. Whilst he's already a multiple premiership player and B grade B & F winner, 'Boom' gets his chance to play for another flag tomorrow.

Well done on reaching this milestone and go well out there tomorrow.

Another great story was written for us last Saturday with Jonty Klemm making his A grade debut in a Preliminary Final!

Jonty’s the son of multiple A grade premiership player and major sponsor Troy Klemm who follows his brother Nash (now on a College scholarship in the USA) into A grade footy for the Saints.

Growing up around the club, Jonty began with Auskick, into the U/8’s and all the way through to the U/17.5’s. During that time he also played a lot of football with West Adelaide, including this season.

The back half of 2026 has seen Jonty put together some really consistent and strong football playing as a forward in the B’s, deserving this call up in the biggest match of the season. Whilst the result didn’t go the way we would have liked, it was fantastic to watch you make your debut Jonty and we hope it’s the first in a long and successful A grade career.

Two massive games will be played at Richmond Oval this weekend for the C and B grade Grand Finals and both will be against Henley. Goodwood and Henley have beaten each other in both grades through the year, so we know that they're going to be thrillers to watch.

The C grade will be looking to make amends for the last time they met, where Henley get out to a 5 goal lead and were able to hold on by 8 points. Whereas the B grade will be looking to repeat the result of their last meet.

It's forecast to be a warm one this weekend so get there early to find a shady spot and cheer the boys on for both games. Lets fill the stand with a sea of red, black and gold.

GO SAINTS!!!
