Prestons Hornets cricket club today received the terrible news that former player David Demetrius was killed in a car accident on Sunday night , David played Both Rugby League & Cricket at Prestons up until getting married & moving to Melbourne, and not only have we been friends for 55 years , this man is the person who got me a start at Prestons , I cannot thank you enough for that decision mate , it certainly changed my life . I will miss you mate & the club passes on its condolences to all his family, but particularly to Mary , Andy, Adam , Sarah & there extended families RIP Mate
