What an incredible night celebrating another fantastic season of Dirt Modified racing in the West!

The evening kicked off in style, with each driver making their entrance to their own walk-up song before receiving their season medallion. It was a fun way to recognise every competitor and set the tone for a great night of celebrating the people who make our club so special.

After the recent AGM the DMAWA are pleased to announce the newly elected Executive Committee for the 2026/27 season.

A massive thank you to our outgoing committee members (and life members) Norm Kennedy and Deb Smith. Thank you for the countless hours, dedication and hard work you’ve given to the club. We know you’ll still be around to share your wealth of knowledge with our members for many years to come.

Congratulations to our newly elected Executive Committee—we look forward to another great season ahead.

DMAWA well represented at the Augusta Margaret River Speedway wind up.
First season as a local club division, 16 points separated the top 3 in the club track championship.
Inaugural AMR V8 Dirt Modified Track Champion WA32 Daniel Kennedy, closely followed by WA88 Raz Pedersen and WA1 Kris Falconbridge.
FBR Falconbridge Racing also winning the AMR club best presented car and team. Well done everyone, looking forward to next season.

The final meeting of the season took place at the WA Dirt Modified “Home of Horse Power” Augusta Margaret River Speedway where drivers faced a track that had endured a week of rain-soaked conditions. Necessitating constant car setup adjustments, thrilling the spectators with cars soaring on monster wheel hikes as they sought to gain a competitive edge on the unpredictable track. The Feature was certainly an entertaining affair as the battle for final bragging rites were on from the drop of the green, eventually results were as follows:
1st WA32 Daniel Kennedy.
2nd WA1 Kris Falconbridge.
3rd WA88 Raz Pedersen.
4th WA44 Elle Taylor.
DWAWA would like to thank the Augusta Margaret River Speedway Committee and Club Members for all the help and assistance offered the DMAWA drivers and crews, we all look forward to a bigger and better season next year.
