Meet Summa Summa - she’s part of our amazing team at Bombora. A surfing instructor, lifeguard and high level coach with experience in ocean safety, performance coaching and guiding surfers off al abilities. Summa is also a skilled big wave surfer!!

Meet Wayne McKeown 🌊

A proud ambassador for Bombora Surf School, Wayne McKeown is closely connected to our surf community on the Gold Coast. He's a board designer, board shaper and Australia's Head Para Surf Coach.

We also love using his boards for our para surfers, they play an important role in helping our adaptive athletes get out in the water and enjoy their sessions

Always around the ocean and backing the crew, Wayne is a valued part of the Bombora family 🌊

A future Olympian in the making! It was amazing to get back in the water with Macgyver- this week. He is certified blind and deaf and has a very special love for the ocean 🩵 our amazing 3 surf coaches India, Kauri and Sunma loved watching him progress over his session .

Meet Jacko (Agent Kaos) 🌊

A proud Gold Coast prone para surfer, athlete, and ambassador for Bombora Surf School.

Jacko is a regular in the water at Palm Beach and Kirra, working closely with our Bombora coaches as part of his ongoing training and progression in prone para surfing.

With the support of the team, he’s been putting in the work and building momentum as he prepares for upcoming goals, including a trip to Hawaii to take his surfing to the next level.

Always positive, always pushing forward — Jacko brings great energy to every session and is a valued part of the Bombora crew 🌊
