Back at the country series for round 4 at Wimmera Kart Racing Club Inc Horsham. After setting up Friday, everyone is doing their final touches this morning before it kicks off.
Yesterday we had the pleasure of helping out Spencer. At the age of 6 he is at the beginning of his karting journey.
We helped facilitate the purchase of the kart, which was a very neat and tidy second hand OTK cadet chasis with the correct motor for competition (vortex minirok). Package cost $3300 with some spares and race suit thrown in also. Spencer already had his practice license and membership, so off to the track we went to help with setup and a bit of driver coaching. He showed great improvement all day, slowly getting use to the power as we got him more comfortable in the kart each session. Well done Spencer!
If you are in Gippsland/Latrobe valley area and you’re thinking of getting into karts whether it be for yourself or your kids, but are worried about how expensive it may be, feel free to reach out to us any time. Karting does not have to be a sport where you spend 10’s of thousands. You can enjoy racing on a budget like a lot of karters do.

🏁 Axis Motorsport Gippsland – First Group Coaching Day 🏁
What an awesome day for our very first group coaching session!
It was fantastic to see all the kids out on track, building confidence and honing their driving skills, while the parents got stuck in learning more about chassis setup and how to support their drivers.
