NBA coaches pass on tips to Torquay Coast youngsters - Surf Coast Times Over 50 local youth basketballers honed their skills with top NBA coaches at Torquay Coast Basketball Club's exclusive two-day camp.

Torquay Coast Basketball Club is recruiting. We are running tryouts for our Under 14 Girls and Under 14 & Under 16 Boys this week.

Across two high-energy player sessions and a dedicated coach clinic, our players and coaches got a firsthand look at what it truly takes to train and think like the pros.

High-level clinics like this are usually reserved strictly for representative programs. Bringing this standard of coaching to our home court reflects our commitment to giving every player access to first-class basketball development.

We are wishing our fantastic Torquay Coast coaches good luck ahead of their BigV Womens Grand Final on Saturday night. Courtney, Amy and Laura put in an amazing amount of effort at the club in addition to representing Surfcoast Chargers on the big stage.

Coming off an incredible win last week, we cannot wait to see the Chargers get the job done.

Another big win sees our Torquay Coast Timberwolves maintain their undefeated record in Division 2 as the finals loom.

New to the club and brilliantly coached by a young leader, they work hard and have great chemistry. Running shorthanded last night, they turned it on in the middle stretch of the game with great team basketball. Looking forward to finishing off the season strong.

Torquay Coast Basketball Club are thrilled to be hosting Chris Holguin and Liam Flynn for our inaugural Coach Development Session.

Chris is a current Assistant Coach with the LA Clippers, a position he's held for over 10 years. Liam is going into his second season with the Lakers G League team. This is a wonderful opportunity for coaches to access this level of talent in Torquay.

We have limited places to ensure quality access to these fantastic coaches.

Our Under 12 boys Wizards continue their excellent form. With new faces in the team this season, they are playing fantastic basketball. Currently on top of Division 1. A wonderful bunch of young stars, looking forward to finals!
