Notice of Special General Meeting

Dear Members

Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of Dodgers Softball will be held on:

Date: Tuesday 15 September 2026
Time: 6:00PM
Location: Club Toowoomba, Hume Street

The meeting has been called following the resignation of the current President, Shaun O’Keeffe and will consider the vacancy created by that resignation.

Business of the Meeting
1. To acknowledge the resignation of the President.
2. To consider and, if appropriate, elect a member to fill the vacant position of President for the remainder of the current term.
3. To consider any other business permitted under the organisation’s constitution and relevant rules.
4. Members wishing to nominate for the position of President should submit their nomination to [email protected] by Monday 14 September 5:00PM. Nominations should be made in accordance with the organisation’s constitution.
5. All eligible members are encouraged to attend.
6. Please note that the meeting will be conducted in accordance with the organisation’s constitution and applicable legislation.

At the conclusion of the special general meeting, Dodgers Softball Club will roll into the proposed meeting.

Softball Queensland are calling for expressions of interest for a boys’ development tour to Wellington, New Zealand in 2027.
The proposed tour will take place from 8th to 13th February 2027.
The purpose of the tour is to provide junior pathway players with international playing experience and development opportunities to further enhance their skills and game play.
The tour is for players who are or turn the ages of 14-17 years old in 2027.
