13 weeks.
And lately I've been thinking a lot about what I actually want those 13 weeks to look like.
Not 13 weeks of being “good.”
Not 13 weeks of smashing myself in the gym.
Not 13 weeks of waiting until January to start living properly.
I want to feel good.
I want to cook good food and actually enjoy eating it.
Spend a few hours in the garden getting my hands dirty.
Laugh until my stomach hurts.
Get dressed in something I bloody love.
Have a date with my husband.
Take the photos.
Go out.
Come home and put my feet up.
Have enough energy to do the things I love.
And yes…
I want to feel strong in my body too.
That's why I don't believe looking after yourself has to mean putting your whole life on hold.
Your training should help you feel more capable of living your life, not like your life revolves around training.
That's what I want for the people I coach too.
To get stronger.
Feel more confident.
Have more energy.
Actually enjoy coming to class.
Have people who know your name and notice when you're there.
And be able to look back a few months from now and think:
“I actually feel bloody good.”
Maybe you've been thinking about making a change.
Maybe you've been telling yourself you'll start in January.
Maybe you're already exercising but still don't feel how you want to feel.
You don't have to figure everything out today.
You could just try something different.
I've got a 3 class trial for $19 if you'd like to come and experience my classes for yourself. ❤️
