⚾ SEMI FINALS WRAP-UP ⚾

Semi Finals were held yesterday and Huskies got the job done, securing wins in 3 of our 4 matches and keeping three teams alive in the finals race!

In C Grade, Huskies Purple got it done in a thriller against Cougars, taking an 8–6 walk-off win in the Major Semi Final. Purple have now secured their place in the Grand Final and will enjoy the week off while they wait to see who they will face on 12 September.

In the other C Grade Semi Final, Huskies Gold showed plenty of fight. After trailing Pandas White 5–0 in the first innings, Gold dug deep and fought their way back into the game to secure a fantastic 10–8 win. They now take on Cougars in the Preliminary Final, with the winner earning a place against Huskies Purple in the Grand Final. Could we see an all-Huskies C Grade Grand Final? 👀💜💛

Huskies Purple produced a dominant performance in the B Grade Minor Semi Final, defeating Pandas Black 21–0 by mercy rule. Purple came out firing, scoring 10 runs in the first innings, another 3 in the second and 8 in the third, with hits coming right across the lineup.

Ling was outstanding on the mound, throwing just 44 pitches for the entire game! 🔥 Purple now move on to face Warriors in the Preliminary Final, with a spot in the Grand Final against Cougars on the line.

Unfortunately, our A Grade season came to an end against Outlaws.

It was a close contest for five innings, with strong pitching and timely hitting from both teams seeing the lead change hands several times. The game opened up in the sixth and final innings when errors proved costly, with Huskies finishing with six for the game.

As this was a Minor Semi Final, the loss brings our A Grade season to a close. We are proud of the group and everything they have put into the season, and we wish the remaining A Grade teams all the best moving forward.

Next weekend is going to be HUGE for Huskies! 💜🖤

Our B Grade Purple and C Grade Gold teams will both be fighting for places in their respective Grand Finals.

💜🖤 IT’S FINALS TIME, HUSKIES! 🖤💜

It’s a massive day for the Huskies as we begin our 2026 Finals Series! 🔥

In C Grade, our Huskies Purple side, who finished the regular season as Minor Premiers, take on Cougars in the Major Semi Final, with a spot in the Grand Final on 12 September up for grabs!

In the other C Grade clash, Huskies Gold, who finished the season in 3rd place, face Pandas White in the Minor Semi Final, fighting for their place in next week’s Preliminary Final.

In B Grade, Huskies Purple will be flying the flag for both of our B Grade teams as they take on Pandas Black in the Minor Semi Final.

And last, but certainly not least, our A Grade Huskies, who finished 3rd in an incredibly tight A Grade competition, take on Outlaws in what will be a rematch of the 2025 Grand Final!
