🦶 SORE FEET AFTER A BIG SEASON? 🏉
After a season of running, kicking and plenty of time in footy boots, it’s not uncommon for our young Cats to finish up with sore feet or heels!
One common cause in active, growing kids is Sever’s disease - a temporary overuse condition that can cause heel pain, particularly during growth spurts.
Keep an eye out for:
🐾 Heel pain during or after sport
🐾 Limping or walking on tiptoes
🐾 Tenderness around the heel
🐾 Stiffness or soreness, particularly in the morning

An end of an era. 💙🤍❤️
On Sunday, a number of these U17 girls pulled on their boots for their final game of junior footy as they prepare to age out of the junior competition.
For some, the journey began right here with the Lane Cove Hunters Hill Cats as six-year-olds in Auskick. From those very first kicks to U17s with the North Shore Swans - what a journey it has been. 🏉
To mark the occasion, the girls were presented with an LCHHC hoodie - a little reminder of where their footy journey began and the club that will always be part of their story.
Years of footy. Countless games. Lifelong friendships. And so many memories made along the way.
Congratulations, girls, on an incredible junior footy journey.
