A huge thank you to everyone who attended our Sydney trials yesterday. The level of competition was outstanding, and it was great to see so many athletes pushing themselves.

It was wonderful to reconnect with our Elite families after seeing each other almost every week over the past year. A special thank you to Kynan and Zach, our first Elite alumni and forever kuyas of the program, for assisting at the trials. Our doors are always open.

We also had the opportunity to congratulate AJ, Amar’e, Teo and Xavier in person on their scholarship achievements. Special thanks to Xavy for sharing some words of encouragement with those trialling.

We’re excited to continue building great teams, creating pathways, and providing the best possible experience for our players and families.

Massive congratulations to Amar’e Stewart, who has officially secured a full scholarship to Chiang Kai Shek College after showing incredible growth and resilience throughout his journey 🇦🇺🇵🇭

Since joining Elite NSW, Amar’e has shown some of the biggest improvements we’ve seen in such a short span of time. After dealing with injury, he returned with a completely new level of focus, energy, and determination to improve his game.

From that point on, he embraced the work, challenged himself every session, and continued to make major strides both mentally and physically on the court.

His growth is a reflection of his resilience, mindset, and commitment to development, and we’re excited to see where this next opportunity takes him as a student-athlete in Manila.

Another proud moment for the Elite NSW family as AJ Olandres officially earns a full scholarship to Chiang Kai Shek College to continue his basketball and academic journey in Manila 🇦🇺🇵🇭

One of the OGs of the program since October 2024, AJ joined Elite NSW focused on locking in and refining his skills and since then, he has continued to put in the work every single session.

AJ has become a huge part of the training environment, consistently bringing energy, competitiveness, and leadership to the group. Whether on offense or defense, he has continued to lead by example and help raise the standard within the team.

His commitment to development, team-first mentality, and hard work have earned him this opportunity.

A huge milestone for Teo Tañedo as he officially secures a full scholarship to Chiang Kai Shek College, where he will continue both his basketball and academic journey this June 🇦🇺🇵🇭

Since joining Elite NSW, Teo has shown consistent growth not just as a player, but as a person. His development has been marked by improved decision-making, increased confidence, and a much stronger sense of maturity in how he approaches both training and competition.

This opportunity reflects the progress he has made through commitment and growth within the program. We’re excited to see him take the next step in Manila.

Xavier joined with a clear goal from the very beginning, to become a student-athlete and trusted our program to help guide him towards that vision.

Through strong work ethic and consistency, he continued to push himself every training session and embraced every opportunity to grow.

What has always stood out about Xavier is his discipline and willingness to trust the process. His growth throughout the journey is a reflection of the work he has consistently put in since day one.

Elite NSW is officially heading to Adelaide this June for the 2027 Manila Tour Tryouts and trial dates are now locked in.

This full day experience is designed to give athletes the opportunity to train, compete, and showcase their abilities led by Coach Mel and Coach Harold. It will also provide valuable insight into the culture, standards, expectations, and overall structure that make up Elite NSW.
