One of the biggest myths we still hear is:

"If I want to lose body fat, I should stop eating fat."

It sounds logical, but that's not how your body works.

Fat isn't the enemy. In fact, your body needs healthy fats to support hormone production, absorb important vitamins, protect your organs, and keep you feeling satisfied after meals.

The goal isn't to avoid fat.

The goal is to eat the right amount for your body and your lifestyle.

Your body is constantly switching between carbohydrates and fats for energy. During higher-intensity exercise, it relies more on carbohydrates. During lower-intensity activity and throughout the day, it uses more fat as fuel. Both play an important role.

This is why successful fat loss isn't about cutting out an entire food group.

It's about building habits you can actually stick to:

• Eat enough protein.
• Include healthy fats in your meals.
• Stay active throughout the week.
• Strength train consistently.
• Create a calorie deficit you can maintain without feeling miserable.

You don't need another restrictive diet.

You need a plan that works with your lifestyle, not against it.

If you're tired of guessing what you should eat and want a simple, sustainable approach to training and nutrition, book a free consultation with Tribe Performance through the link in our bio.

We'll help you build a plan that fits your goals and your life.

Soreness does not always mean you need to stop training completely.

In many cases, reducing intensity, focusing on movement quality, and adjusting the session slightly can help recovery while keeping consistency in place.

The goal is not to push through pain. It is to train intelligently around what the body is telling you.

Hamstring tightness is not always about flexibility.

In many cases, the muscles need better movement, more strength through range, and improved support from the surrounding areas.

Combining mobility and strength work often creates more lasting changes than stretching alone.

Training harder does not always mean moving faster.

Controlled reps improve tension, movement quality, and consistency across your sessions.

Small adjustments in tempo and positioning often make exercises feel more effective immediately.

Strength training is not just about the exercises you choose. It is also about how well you recover between efforts.

Longer rest periods allow better rep quality, more consistent force output, and stronger overall sessions.

Sometimes a small adjustment like this changes how training feels immediately.
