2026 TIPR AFL & NRL Tipping Competition Update
A reminder to get your Flexi-tips in for the upcoming round of AFL and NRL matches.
Round 19 kicks off with a wounded Geelong Cats team hosting St Kilda. The Cats are $1.47 due to home ground advantage, but there will be plenty of tipsters tempted to take the Saints at $2.68. This should be a close contest.
In Round 20 of the NRL, the ladder-leading Penrith Panthers ($1.23) will be looking to inflict more damage on the disappointing Brisbane Broncos, who are remarkably 14th on the table, despite winning the premiership last season. If you are a risk taker, you can get $4.20 for the Broncos to cause a boilover. Good luck with your tips!

Warwick Farm Race 2 No. 3 Chanterelle
The Waterhouse and Bott trained 2YO filly is having her first start today. Her sire, Ole Kirk, is producing some outstanding progeny. Chanterelle was very impressive in her last trial on a heavy track, winning it by 4.8L. Today she will need to win from a wide gate, but she looks promising and should be able to overcome the barrier. Rachel King takes the ride today. Chanterelle opened at $2.7 but is now into $1.95. BIG WINNER!
tipped Second Nature to win Race 3 at Sandown last week. Second Nature, ridden by apprentice Emily Pozman started at $61. She rode it last start and was requested by the stewards to ride with more vigour! may have picked up on that and thought the 9YO gelding could cause a boilover next start. Well with a great inside run and a vigorous ride by Pozman, the oldtimer got up on the line!

TIPR 2026 AFL & NRL Tipping Competition Update
In the AFL competition, Salsa remains overall leader with 2,540 Flexi-points. Brady Wauchope is making ground and is second on 2,467 points. AB has moved into third place on 2,179. There were several winners of the round, including AB (234 Flexi-points), Lawjin, Gavin Humphrey, MattRad83 and Murdoch, who all win 50 Flips.
In the NRL competition, Schyvo is the overall leader on 2,531 Flexi-points. Amelia is second on 2,469 and AB is also third in the NRL comp on 2,401 points. All three tipsters received 240 points for the round, which is impressive! The winner of the round was Cooper7 with 255 points.

Caulfield Race 1 No. 2 Angel's Fury
The Ciaran Maher trained 2YO filly is having her third run today and is second up, after winning impressively at Bendigo last start. She was favourite in a Group 3 in her first start but pulled up lame that day. Today Jabez Johnstone takes the ride with the 3kg claim and will have to navigate a wide barrier, but on a soft track it may not to be too much of a disadvantage. Angel's Fury is the hot favourite at $1.60 and deservedly so. If you are looking for a bit more value, why not place a same race multi, with Angel's Fury to win and one of the other contenders to finish top 3 or more. Unsure who to pair her with?
