poprod2024 provided another excellent tip and a big winner in Beiwacht in Race 8 at Caulfield. Beiwacht started at $6 in the Group 1 Memsie Stakes and also bolted in! It was a sensational ride by Nash Rawiller, who is in outstanding form.

2026 TIPR NRL Tipping Competition Update
A reminder to get your Flexi-tips in for Round 26 of the NRL season. Tonight we kick off with the Broncos ($2.13) hosting Melbourne Storm ($1.72). These two clubs have historically been contenders most seasons but are now out of contention for finals. Both clubs will be hoping to finish off the season well, so it should be a close contest.

Canterbury Race 5 No. 8 Phantom Major
JMac has a stack of great rides today but the one I fancy most is Phantom Major. The 4YO horse, sired by Snitzel, has only had 2 starts for a 2nd and a win last start at Canterbury, over 1200m. That win was on a good track, so the query will be can he win on the Heavy 8. He does appear quite versatile though and if Waller had any doubts, the horse would have been scratched. Phantom Major was slowly away but stormed home to win well last start. It was an impressive win and JMac will be looking to give him plenty of room to storm home down the outside again.
