🏀 There’s a lot more happening than just basketball.
While they’re running, jumping, throwing, catching and chasing the ball, children are developing coordination, balance, body awareness, motor planning and confidence — often without even realising they’re learning. 💜
At MovePlay, we introduce sport through play, movement and age-appropriate challenges, giving children the freedom to explore, try, make mistakes and try again.
Because at this age, it’s not about getting the perfect shot.
It’s about building the skills — and the confidence — to keep having a go. ✨
💜 MovePlay was created to be more than sport.
From the beginning, we wanted to build something that grows with our community and gives back to it.
Today, we were proud to support a beautiful Brazilian fundraising event for Bloomhill Cancer Care , bringing play, movement and smiles to the children while an incredible group of volunteers came together for such an important cause. 🇧🇷💜
A huge thank you to every volunteer who made today possible, and to Bloomhill for the incredible work you do supporting people and families impacted by cancer across the Sunshine Coast.
This is the kind of community we want MovePlay to grow with. 💜

🎉 We’re growing… and we can’t wait to meet more families on the northern Sunshine Coast!
We’re excited to announce a brand-new MovePlay location at North Shore Community Centre, Mudjimba, starting Thursday, 23 July.
Our indoor multisports classes are specially designed for children aged 21 months to 5 years, helping them build confidence, coordination and fundamental movement skills through fun, play-based activities.
🎾 Our first sport of the month will be Tennis.
