Just a few aerobars from the first batch of the new TR-2 bars before they were sent for painting last week.

For everyone who has been messaging and I haven’t had a chance to reply I’m slowly starting to get on top of all orders, emails and enquiries and will respond to everyone over the next day. I’m very sorry for the slow replies and grateful for everyone’s understanding 🙏.

Running a small business can be hard at the best of times, however the past few months have been hectic with the launch of the new bars.

I’ll be completely honest here with where my time has gone and why I haven’t posted in forever. When I thought everything was aligned to scale production of the bars, there were several issues with the moulds. Some were completely out of my control such as from external suppliers, others just little mistakes in my behalf. This included simply forgetting to put mould release agent on three small bolts that cost me several days to rectify. Once several bars were already shipped, I then learnt that for some setups the mounting bolts were almost inaccessible so again more lost time whilst I had to make a small layup change and redo all bars made to date.

There has been days I’ve been in the factory till 1:30am and back again at 5am. Good news is everything is going a lot smoother now and the new bars have been looking 👌 (more pics to come).

While it’s probably not common practice to be open about such issues, this is simply the truth behind building a business from scratch.
