Confidence is the by-product of self-trust.
Trusting yourself to make the right decisions and choices and knowing that you've 'got this' regardless of the outcome. It allows you to act on your desires and explore your options without second guessing at every step which only serves to induce anxiety.
As good as the idea of certainly feels, reality is that nothing in life comes with a guarantee.
Self-confidence is the ability to give yourself permission to find out no matter what in spite of the uncertainty.
Give yourself the permission, because you've certainly got this 😉

For most of my life I treated certain emotions like problems to solve.
Anger. Grief. Fear. Shame.
I never learned how to process emotions in a healthy way.
So I managed them. Suppressed them. Pretended they weren't there.
I got very good at appearing fine.
And nothing changed.
Same patterns. Same reactions. Same thoughts running on repeat.
Same way of showing up in relationships. Same version of me — just more exhausted, frustrated & unhappy.
Real healing & transformation started when I stopped fighting what I felt and started paying attention to it.
And that's when things actually shifted.
My behaviour - how I showed up in life, how I related to people, the thoughts that used to run my life — everything changed.
Not because I worked harder at fixing myself.
Because I finally stopped treating my emotions as the enemy and started listening to what they were telling me.
That's the difference -
One is management. The other is actual change 💚
Which emotion have you been treating as the enemy? Drop it below. Just one word.
And if you want to continue this conversation with someone who has lived it, and understand healthy emotional processing — just DM for a real heart to heart 😊
