Ever wondered why we don’t just chuck up a heap of beginner lesson dates months in advance?

Because conditions matter; especially when you’re learning.

We want your first experiences in the ocean to be good ones. We’re not about throwing beginners into whatever conditions happen to show up just because there’s a lesson on the calendar.

We watch the swell. We watch the wind. We choose the location. And we schedule our beginner sessions when we believe the ocean is going to give you the best opportunity to actually learn, build confidence and have a bloody good time doing it.

Super Sesh in September

Our 3-hour Super Sesh combines 2 hours of land and ocean coaching with 1 hour of group video analysis over coffee. Learn in the water, then watch your waves back with personalised feedback from your coach and support from an encouraging crew. One session. Big progression.

Weekend of waves, sunshine, good food, real coaching, belly laughs and genuine connection.

Due to the absolute s**t show that has been Feb/March weather, we’re pressing pause on all lessons until April… when hopefully Mother Nature remembers that surfing is essential for our survival and keeps us slightly more sane in this crazy world.

At this point the ocean, wind, rain and forecast apps are all in a group chat trolling us.

Stay tuned for lesson updates, and we’ll also throw in some pop-up skate sessions when the rain finally decides what personality it’s going with for the day.
