PRODUCTION CAR UPDATE //

Our exciting news for 2022 can now be revealed.

We are now "MRA Production Car Series". The name change came about by multiple factors. Firstly, to keep the series in line with our main brand MRA and to minimise confusion with other production car race categories.

Personally, I would like to thank Chris Reeves, President of NSW Production Touring Cars for working with us so we can co-exist. We look forward to working with the members of NSW Production Touring Cars in the future and we welcome all 3E log booked cars to race with us!

I'd like to apologise to anyone who may have been confused by the name, please accept my sincerest apology. Our Facebook, Instagram and website will be slowly transitioned to the new name over the next few week.

For 2022, we are now going to an open tyre. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Hankook Tire for their previous support but believe this is the best solution for the category moving forward.

**EXCITING NEWS FOR 2022 COMING SOON**

Keep an eye out for some interesting news in 2022. There are some significant changes for the category.

N-E-W-S

Due to the current NSW lockdowns and the uncertainty of the exact date that NSW will hit the 80% fully vaccinated target, there are changes to current championship standings.

NSWPCS - NSW Production Car Series
This event has been designated as a one-off and will not count towards the championship. Category tyre requirements will not be enforced. (Open tyre)
The category also includes any Improved Production Cars, and BMW E36 Race Series. They will also be classified as non championship.

Looking for a bit of track time after lock down? The event is currently accepting entries. Entries must be received by 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19th.

ONLY $250 FOR FRIDAY NIGHT PRACTICE. Current competitors will receive an invitation soon. Only existing entrants get access to Friday night.

We've got a lot of information that we need you to understand about our October race meeting, please read carefully.

There are a couple of factors that will determine the event running to plan.

- Any person onsite at Sydney Motorsport Park must have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine or a medical exemption and be able to produce necessary proof at the gate. (This is a Public Health Order requirement)

- The current target date for 70% double dose vaccination is scheduled to be before the event. Providing the 70% target is met on or prior to Sunday 17th October, this will open the venue to those people who reside in Sydney LGAs. Unfortunately, that means no regional competitors.

- It is our understanding that any person from regional areas may attend the event. (Providing they meet the double dose or exemptions) However, will be required to isolate for 14 days upon returning to your local area.

- For Regional competitors to attend (without any restrictions), the state will need to have hit the 80% target on or prior to Sunday 17th October.

Entries will open at 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 29th September).
