Springwood World of Tennis

Over the recent School holidays, Springwood World of Tennis was represented by Ashton, Brydan, Lucius, Tibby and Dustin at the NSW Country Championships held for the first time in Wagga Wagga. It was another amazing week of tennis, with Springwood bringing home a number of events. Well done to all players! Results included: Ashton winning the Open men’s singles, Ashton and Brydan winning the Open men’s doubles, Brydan winning the Open mixed and 16 mixed doubles, Brydan winning the 16 boys event and Dustin winning the 10 Boys singles event and finishing with 10 boys doubles and 11 singles runner up. Tibby made the 11 boys singles semi and 12 boys singles quarters and Lucius made the quarters of 14 boys singles. Tibby was also selected to represent Central West this weekend in the Regional state league event. Well done everyone!

Congratulations to Tibby and Talia who played in the Nepean RMS last weekend. Talia won the under 10’s girls while Tibby won his band. Keep up the hard work you two and goodluck in your upcoming competitions!. SWOT will also like to wish Julien, Tibby and Dustin good luck for this weekend as they represent Central West in the 12 state teams event. Enjoy the weekend of tennis! 🎾

On the weekend we had Lucius, Tibby and Talia compete at the Bathurst RMS. All three players came out as winners in their own way! Special congratulations to Lucius who won his band. Also Tibby and Talia came runner up in their band. Well done team Springwood!
