This is what I mean when I say I don’t just want my clients to lose weight.
Luke has absolutely nailed his first 7 weeks.
We’ve gone from roughly 105kg to a lowest weigh-in of 99kg, while still eating 2,540 calories with 300g of carbohydrates per day.
But the scales aren’t actually my favourite part of this transformation.
He’s running faster.
He’s completed his biggest running week.
He’s hit a new 5km PB.
He’s getting visibly leaner through his waist, chest, back and legs.
And he’s learning how to manage food without feeling like his life needs to stop every time he travels, eats out or has something come up.
That’s what good coaching should create.
Not dependency on your coach forever.
Education. Structure. Confidence.
You should understand why you’re doing what you’re doing and eventually know how to navigate real life without immediately falling back into the old “f**k it, I’ll start again Monday” mentality.
We’re only 7 weeks in.
Now we’re giving Luke a planned maintenance week, bringing his carbs up, fuelling training and then attacking the next phase.
The goal isn’t just to build a leaner body.
It’s to build someone capable of keeping it.
If you’re ready to do the same, DM me or head to the Coaching Enquiry in my bio.

Hard truths I’m not afraid to tell you as a coach.
You don’t need to train harder every single day to get better.
You don’t need every run to look impressive on Strava.
You don’t need to prove your fitness every session.
And one s**t session doesn’t mean your training isn’t working.
Some of the best athletes I coach aren’t the ones who absolutely nail every workout.
They’re the ones who understand the bigger picture.
They run easy when they’re supposed to run easy.
They push when the program asks them to push.
They recover.
They fuel properly.
And most importantly, they stack weeks of consistent training without constantly second guessing the process.
Your race result is usually a reflection of the boring work you did months ago.
That’s the part people struggle with.
Everyone wants to get faster.
Everyone wants the HYROX PB.
Everyone wants the marathon PB.
But very few people are willing to patiently stack the work required to actually earn it.
You don’t need to be naturally talented to become very fu***ng good.
You need a plan, consistency and enough patience to let the work compound.
Stop chasing perfect sessions. Start stacking good weeks.
That’s how you get fu***ng good.

100km. Brisbane → Gold Coast. Doing It For Dad. ❤️
This one meant more than a finish line.
Every kilometre was a reminder of why I started **Doing It For Dad** and why I want to keep using the things I love to help people going through something no family should have to face.
Cancer has changed my family’s life this year.
I can’t change that.
But I can choose what I do with it.
So I’ll keep running.
I’ll keep riding.
I’ll keep racing.
And I’ll keep finding harder challenges for a cause that now means everything to me.
If you’d like to support the cause, even a few dollars can make a difference.
Donate through the “Doing It For Dad” link in my bio. ❤️
100km ticked off. ✅
Onto the next finish line.
Every finish line has a purpose.
