Rising Nine Top lines up for his second run of his three-year-old campaign tomorrow at Geelong and we’re looking forward to seeing him back at the races. He came through his first-up assignment in excellent order, where he finished third over 1400m and he’ll step out to 1547m tomorrow as we continue to get him out in trip.

He ’s been enjoying his work at Ciaron Maher’s Ballarat Stable and we’re sure he’ll continue to improve with some more racing. He’s only had the three career starts and his most recent outing was by far his best run.

The Satono Aladdin c**t runs in the Rising Sun Syndicate - Knine Inc partnership colours.

Our Dundeel x Toorsinaa c**t with Cumani Racing recently completed his spell on the Bellarine Peninsula and seemed to love his time in a spacious paddock with three other c**ts.

Matt was really pleased with his progress throughout last preparation and his attitude for the work. He has a really good opinion of this c**t and we’re hopeful of getting him to the jump outs this prep, and perhaps even the races.

Preciousmore breaks through for an excellent win at Ballarat on the Synthetic course, courtesy of a brilliant ride from Declan Bates. Well done to the ownership group who have been very patient with this mare and Matt Cumani and his team for doing an excellent job.

She’s a mare that enjoys a trip and was successful at 2100m today. Declan gave her a good wrap after the race and suggested she’d be even more effective out to 12 furlongs.

Preciousmore is by Maurice and out of Pressure who got out to 2200m herself. She was a $80,000 Inglis Classic purchase by Rising Sun Syndicate and Cumani Racing.

Another excellent racing season for Rising Sun Syndicate comes to a close and we’re already looking forward to an even bigger year ahead.

A huge thank you goes to our incredible team of trainers, owners and support team for their ongoing commitment.

We enjoyed 18 winners across the season with some promising types and we’ll be hitting the ground running through the Spring with our biggest team of horses yet.

Perhaps the biggest growth came off the track. We had a busy yearling sale season buying on behalf of some new owners, we’ve added some great new trainers to our stable and Bruno Dimasi joined our team in a Sales and Ownership Experience role.

Here’s to a big 2026/27 season. We can’t wait to share the success ahead with you all!

Thinking Sensation claims his second career win with a great display at Coleraine on Sunday for Matt Cumani and the likeable Tom Ryan. Competing in a Highweight Handicap over 1300m, we were able to get the services of leading jumps rider who gave him an excellent ride.

We’ve always had a good opinion of the So You Think four-year-old and Matt’s team have also always liked him, he’s probably just taken. Little more time than we thought but it looks as though we’ll be reaping the rewards of that patience now.

Tommy settled Thinking Sensation amongst the leading pack and never left the rail to claim an impressive win.

Kosei Top - ANZ Bloodstock News Maiden of the Week 👏🏽

Kosei Top made a winning debut at Sale today and becomes the first winner for Knine Inc in Australia and was selected at the Inglis Ready2Race Sale by Rising Sun.

The Chris Waller Racing-trained juvenile was presented at the races in beautiful condition and we were confident of a positive showing. He’s shown a lot of ability at home but it’s always pleasing to see them do it on race day. It was an excellent ride from Tom Stockdale also!

It’s great to celebrate the first win with Knine who has made a big investment in Australian racing and has a stable of some very nice horses. Rising Sun was tasked with finding some nice horses at the yearling sales in 2026 as well as securing some 2yo’s at the breeze-up sales to have some early runners.

By All Too Hard and from a strong female family with the third dame being Parfore who produced 10 winners from 10 race including Terravista and Tiger Tees, he was a very attractive two year old and we loved his breeze. DSB Thoroughbreds did an excellent job prepping him and now it’s onwards and upwards

It has been incredibly pleasing for our owners to see Nishino Crescent back at the races and performing well after returning from the suspensory injury that sidelined him in July last year. We took a patient approach with one of Rising Sun Syndicate's headline horses, and judging by his most recent performance, that decision is paying off.

The Japanese import enjoyed a successful campaign before his injury, highlighted by an impressive victory over 1800 metres at Flemington on 18 January. Following that preparation, trainer Henry Dwyer and the Rising Sun team elected to give him a well-earned spell. He returned to work in great order and was only a short way from the trials before suffering a suspensory injury, requiring another extended break to ensure a full and sound recovery.

Recently appointed Sales and Owners & Client Experience Manager, Bruno Dimasi, was on course at Pakenham and thoroughly enjoyed sharing the day with the ownership group.

"It was great to be back on course with a fantastic group of owners who have had so much fun with this horse, before also experiencing the challenges that come with injury," Dimasi said.
