Singleton Volleyball Club is a great fun and social environment open to anyone of High School age and above with any experience of playing level, from not knowing a single rule and never having hit a ball to the advanced spikers of the game. We welcome new teams or individual players to come join our club to play weekly on Thursday nights from 6.30pm onwards. Volleyball is a great sport to keep ac
tive, meet new friends and try something new. Our Club plays two seasons per year, Summer competition starts in October and the Winter competition starts in April with breaks over the school holidays. Both seasons are played at the Singleton Heights Sports Centre. We hold a presentation night at the end of each season with prizes for winning teams, player of the season, most improved teams and players. New players are encouraged to come along at any time and have a go to see if it is the sport for you. Singleton Volleyball Club, associated with Volleyball Australia, has the opportunity of playing at a representative level if enough players are committed, there are competitions played at Canberra and Manly, along with a change to beach volleyball at Newcastle on Australia Day. Our club is not only always looking for new players but also sponsors to help with new equipment, club shirts, end of season prizes and assisting our representative teams on their trips.
