Seaford LAC proudly competes on a grass track, and has done so since its first Centre Program in 1973
Little Athletes with growing bodies respond really well to running and competing on Grass because of the low impact on bones and joints.
Plus, it’s so much better for our U9 girls and their handstand competitions 🤗

All are welcome! Relay For Life is an event for kids of all ages, there are loads of fun activities running over the 18 hours to keep you and your little ones occupied.

Our 2026/27 Education season gets underway this weekend!
We kick off this Saturday with Community Officials: Race Walking at Middle Park, led by International Race Walking judge Zoe Eastwood-Bryson.
Fresh from the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Zoe brings experience from the highest levels of the sport while remaining actively involved at grassroots level.
Registrations close Wednesday – get in quickly!

Good luck to Lily, Alby and Indigo who are part of Team Vic heading to Ballarat for the 2026 Australian Cross Country Championships this weekend. I hear it has been wet there this week so we look forward to seeing how muddy they are at the end!

One of the BEST things about our athletes competing at State and Region events, as well as Open Days with other centres, is the friendships that are forged during the down time.
From sharing snacks and cheering on the competitors, to playing cards and braiding hair, our athletes (including mums, dads and siblings) always have fun and create lasting bonds that make the day a special one to remember.
