Tity’s Family Racing are starting the season off with a bang. Its a long read but hang in there its for a good cause and something Drew Titmarsh is extremely passionate about.
In August 2024, our lives changed forever when my beautiful grandma was admitted to the Fitzroy Hospice. After bravely battling breast cancer that had spread to her bones and progressed to stage 4, we knew we were facing the hardest goodbye imaginable.
From the moment she arrived, the staff at the hospice treated her with so much love, dignity, and compassion. They never made her feel like she was just another patient—they saw her as a person, as someone’s mum, grandma, friend, and the incredible woman she truly was. They cared for her with such kindness, ensuring she was as comfortable as possible while always treating her with the respect she deserved.
Their care didn’t stop with my grandma. They wrapped their arms around our entire family, offering comfort, kindness, and support through the most heartbreaking days of our lives. Even after she passed away, they continued to show us compassion and understanding when we needed it most. We will never be able to thank them enough for everything they did.
My grandma was the strongest person I have ever known. She was kind, generous, selfless, and had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met. She taught me what unconditional love looks like, and I truly would not be the person I am today without her. Losing her has left a space in my heart that can never be filled, but I carry her love, strength, and the lessons she taught me with me every single day.
We are sharing our story because we want to give back to the incredible people who gave our family so much during the hardest time of our lives. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help the Fitzroy Hospice continue providing the same love, compassion, dignity, and comfort to other families who find themselves walking this heartbreaking journey.
Thank you for helping us honour my grandma’s memory and support a place that means so much to our family. '
Every season Drew and Tity’s Family Racing start the season off by fundraising for a cause that we are passionate about. This season we have chosen to help raise funds for our local Fitzroy Community Hospice.
We are offering spots for sale on the rear of SHAZZA to Honer those special ones or just a simple donation to help out. Places will start at $100 each with 50% going towards helping Drew to travel to some new tracks this season and the other 50% going straight to the Hospice. If would like to donate more then that's more than welcome.

Why We’re Fundraising for Fitzroy Community Hospice?
Fitzroy Community Hospice holds a very special place in our family’s heart. When our loved one was cared for by the Hospice, we experienced first-hand the compassion, dignity and support they provide to families during one of life’s most difficult times.
The care, kindness and comfort provided by the team made an incredible difference to our family, and we want to help ensure other Central Queensland families can receive that same support when they need it most.
While care at Fitzroy Community Hospice is provided fee-free to patients and families, it is not free to provide. Each year, the Hospice relies on fundraising and community support to help cover 20% of its operational costs, including the people, equipment and resources needed to deliver this vital care.
Every dollar raised stays right here in Rockhampton, supporting local families and helping Fitzroy Community Hospice continue its work in our community.
Support care that costs nothing to receive but means everything to Central Queensland families.

Last night we attended the McCosker Gladstone Speedway trophy night where Drew is also a member. We were extremely surprised so come away with 3rd in Top Stars for the season. And a huge thanks to Pro1 Race Parts for the $125 gift voucher handed out to all the Junior drivers. That's wraps up a pretty successful season we had some lows with a massive accident and plenty of hights with her 1st feature podium finishes.
We are all ready full steam ahead with the off season rebuild Drew has striped SHAZZA back to a empty shell for a new engine fresh panels and paint.
We are working on something very exciting and close to Drew’s heart and hopefully we can reveal the details in the coming week.
Again none of this happens without the support of our amazing sponsors crew Mitchell Kydd Zaaron Titmarsh Michael Titmarsh Cass Folks and everyone else that has jumped in and helped out through the season.

Hey! For our new wrap, we want to create something that represents more than just one cause. While breast cancer remains very close to our hearts, we also want to help raise awareness for all types of cancer, su***de prevention, and other incurable illnesses and conditions that have touched so many lives.
We’re thinking of including the names of loved ones who have passed away, along with what they bravely battled, as well as the names of those who continue to fight these challenges every day. This project is about remembering, honouring, and supporting everyone affected.
Our hope is that this wrap can serve as a small but meaningful tribute and help start conversations that remind people they are not alone. There can never be too much awareness, compassion, or support for those facing these struggles and for the families who stand beside them.
If interested message myself Drew Titmarsh and we can discuss details!

Not every racing story begins with a dream.
Some begin with proximity.
For Queensland Junior Sedan driver Drew Titmarsh, motorsport was simply part of the landscape — crew life, race days, late nights in the shed, and learning the rhythms of competition long before she ever climbed into the driver's seat.
Three years into her own racing career, Drew is building something that extends beyond results. A two-time Best Presented recipient at Rockhampton's Piston Cup, she speaks about racecraft with a maturity beyond her years, valuing control and understanding as highly as outright speed.
Her pink race car carries a deeper significance, honouring her late grandmother and supporting breast cancer awareness through fundraising and advocacy efforts that remain close to her heart.
Thoughtful, determined and quietly ambitious, Drew represents the next generation of grassroots speedway competitors — proving that confidence isn't always loud, and progress isn't always measured by the podium.
