Shoutout to our under 17.5s team who are storming home to sit 2nd on the ladder with 3 games to go.

They next play at Pinks Reserve against 4th placed Kilsyth on Sunday. It's an extremely tight top 4 at the moment, so if you're free over the next few weeks, make sure that you head down and support them!

Reminder: come on down to Jubilee at 4:30pm for a training session and meet and greet with some AFL Hawks players!!

U17.5 sides from Ringwood and Upwey-Tecoma wore black armbands today and observed a minutes silence pre-game in honour of Nathan Fitzgerald.

Our U9's side had their first outing with the U10 rules in play as they get ready to transition to next season. They did really well with the stand up tackles!

Tonight Ringwood Junior Football Club was honoured to be recognised with several nominations at the Deakin Community Awards: the Sporting Spirit Award; the Inclusiveness Award; and, for U17.5 Vice Captain Joel Murdoch, the Rising Star Youth Achievement Award.

While we didn’t walk away with any of the awards, simply being nominated is a wonderful acknowledgement of the incredible work happening across our junior club and the positive impact our committee, coaches, players, parents and supporters make at our club and in the broader Deakin community.

Junior President Sarah Dalton and player Joel Murdoch proudly accepted the certificates of nomination at tonight’s ceremony.

Thanks to Matt Gregg MP for recognising the important role ours, and other community sporting clubs, play in bringing people together, building networks and friendships and strengthening the local community through the game we love.

I spy with my little eye one of our U17.5 faves making his Senior debut with the Reserves side last weekend! Congratulations to Will Jack on his foray into the big leagues, we’re all really proud of you mate and am sure it’s a sign of many great Redbacks senior outings to come 🖤🤍❤️🕷️
