Another Wanderers clinic the day after our annual tour ( Saturday August 22nd ) saw 21 keen boys & girls come along to experience a skills session with 4 coaches.

Lance Roudenko and Brad Murphy went out to South Ripley in Ipswich where there is a magnificent new cricket complex featuring a fully lit turf wicket and net facility.

The Central Districts Cricket Club will be the home club @ this great complex to go along with their Limestone Park facility and hope to promote cricket to multitudes of South Ripley area juniors into the future.

Here’s Julian Sinardi and Shane Wyatt modelling the new Macron touring polo shirts whilst waiting to bat in Winton.

Former Qld & Australian fast bowler Geoff Dymock once again toured country Qld with us on our visits to the various towns.

Geoff imparted his vast knowledge of the game on to not only the local junior players but also to the Wanderers touring party.

Thanks to Australian Cricketers' Association for once more making it possible to send Geoff on tour.

Coaching clinics carried out on our recent tour were made possible by the generous sponsorship of Queensland Cricket, Greg Chappell Cricket Centre, Venro Finance, Bulls Masters, Gabba Sports Netting and Surfaces - gabba.com.au, Australian Cricketers' Association, Cyber7 Security, Upskill Cricket, Roudenko Cricket Academy & Brad Murphy Sports.

We held junior clinics in Springsure, Longreach, Winton & Barcaldine.

Whilst Brad Murphy & Lance Roudenko organised the sessions we had Geoff Dymock & the rest of the Wanderer’s players on hand to assist in helping pass on cricket tips to the local boys & girls.

We all had a great time being involved in these pre-game sessions and hope the kids enjoyed it.
