Ow! What an incredible fortnight for South Australian judo.

From the Adelaide International Open, to historic adaptive judo success of Wakefield and Hudson in Lausanne and Judokan’s MONster competition, our athletes and community have given us so much to celebrate.

Interested in learning more about kata?
Perhaps you watched kata at the Adelaide International Open and it sparked your curiosity. Maybe you are already practising and want to refine your technique, or perhaps a Dan grading is on the horizon.
Whatever your experience or goal, you are welcome to join the Friday kata training sessions at Adelaide University Judo Club (AUJC).

JudoSA is excited to put on the largest competition event in Adelaide again this year, and we look forward to seeing you all there!

This year we are encouraging all our SA Judoka to come down and support their club mates, and fellow SA Judoka. Bring your friends and family to experience the highest level of Judo you’ll find in Adelaide.

🥋 Congratulations to our newest CAF coaches!

A huge congratulations to everyone who completed the CAF Coaching Course today. It was fantastic to see so many people investing in the future of judo in South Australia.

A special thank you to Chris from kangaroojudoclub for hosting us, and Shane Alvisio for flying in to support the course.

We also really appreciate Leigh and Nathan making the drive down from Port Augusta, and everyone else who gave up their Sunday to take part.

JudoSA is pleased to announce that applications for the 2026–2027 Judo SA Grant Scheme open tomorrow (1 July 2026).

The Grant Scheme will continue to support athletes, coaches, clubs and strategic initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of judo in South Australia.
