2027 FMNC Youth Development Academy – Expressions of Interest Open

Dear Parents, Players and Coaches,

Football Mid North Coast is excited to announce that Expressions of Interest are now open for the 2027 Youth Development Academy (YDA).

The YDA provides a structured, high-quality development environment for young footballers, aligned with Football Australia and Northern NSW Football Junior Development League (JDL) principles.

⚽ Player Expressions of Interest – 2027

We are inviting girls and boys who will be in the 10s, 11s or 12s age groups in 2027 to complete an Expression of Interest.

The YDA focuses on:

- Developing individual technical skills
- Building confidence and creativity
- Developing teamwork and game understanding
- Providing quality coaching and structured training
- Creating opportunities to play in monthly Gala Days
- Supporting long-term player development
- Building a positive and respectful football environment

The 2027 program will include twice-weekly training from January to September and monthly Gala Days from February to September.

Players will be based within one of our regional YDA hubs:

📍 Macleay Hub – Kempsey, Crescent Head & South West Rocks
📍 Hastings Hub – Port Macquarie, Wauchope & Camden Haven
📍 Manning Hub – Taree, Old Bar & Wingham
📍 The Lakes Hub – Hallidays Point, Forster/Tuncurry & Bulahdelah

10s will play 7v7, while 11s and 12s will play 9v9.

🧑‍🏫 Coach Expressions of Interest – 2027

We are also seeking coaches who are passionate about developing young footballers to join the YDA coaching team in 2027.

YDA coaches play an important role in creating a positive learning environment and supporting players through their technical, tactical, physical and personal development.

If you are interested in coaching one of our 10s, 11s or 12s Girls or Boys teams, we would love to hear from you.

Our YDA Girls travelled to Newcastle today to play in the first ever JDL Girls Northern NSW Football gala day.

Our squads played against all the JDL teams and Zonal teams from across the zone.

Thank you to our parents who travelled to Newcastle and our players for participating in a warm winters day.
