Helping The Koorliny Bilya Group To Promote Indigenous Welfare

Amanda Garlett of the Koorliny Bilya Group kindly approached us to design a polo shirt for the group, which is a new venture dedicated to achieving better outcomes and opportunities for the indigenous community in Western Australia.

We worked with Amanda to create the attached shirt, and she tells us she is very pleased with the outcome.

Winners Are Grinners!

In October last year we were asked to design a team shirt for the Galaxy Womens Softball Club, which is a member of the Rockingham City and Districts Softball Association, and competes in the Ladies Division Two competition.

It was their first season as a club, and they won both the Minor Premiership and the Grand Final.

Our Contribution To NAIDOC Week 2026 – 50 Years Of Deadly

The staff at Wangkatjungka Remote Community School sought our help to produce a shirt to help them celebrate National NAIDOC Week in 2026, and we were happy to oblige.

The sublimation printing process (our speciality) is ideally suited to the intricate patterns, fine details, and vibrant colours of traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander designs. The artwork transfers directly into the fabric, so it won't crack, peel, or fade.

NAIDOC Week 2026 – 50 Years Of Deadly

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The week is celebrated by local community events which take place across Australia, and this is where Spectrum Sportswear can help.

Newtown Public School Salutes Indigenous Culture

In keeping with its commitment to inclusivity, Newtown Public School in Newtown, NSW recently enlisted the aid of an aboriginal elder to help its students design a school shirt with an indigenous theme.

In February 2026 the school approached Spectrum Sportswear to produce an order of shirts featuring the students’ design, and we were glad to oblige.

We worked through a lengthy consultation process with the school to ensure that colours and design features were correct before going to production, and the shirts were shipped in early April.

Helping UWA Mens Hockey Club Celebrate A Long And Proud History

In 2025, the University of WA Associates Mens Hockey Club, or SOAKS as it is popularly known, celebrated its 75th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, the club commissioned a large order of 200 specially designed playing shirts from Spectrum Sportswear in January 2025.
