Our friends over at Street Machines WA followed up on the survey we shared a while back. See the Departments response in the post.

I contacted the DoT about the recent survey on the storage of personal plates and this is their reply.

Thank you for your enquiry.



As the survey was intended to gather feedback rather than implement a specific change, there is currently no set timeframe for survey results or any resulting actions.



Client feedback is an important part of how we review and improve our processes, which is why the survey was distributed. Any feedback received will be considered as part of ongoing reviews.



If any changes to retention guidelines or related procedures are identified and implemented as a result of the feedback, these will be communicated to all relevant stakeholders in due course.
