After being off sick last week its so nice to be back moving my body!
The first exercise I did coming back into it was reformer pilates, I took myself through a bit of a class I'd planned for myself.
I loved the strength sets I included so much I decided to include them in this weeks class plans π«Ά
It's amazing how moving your body in a strong and powerful way can help you feel more strong and powerful πͺ It was definitely needed after I had a week of feeling weak and tired π΄
I'm just always in awe of how much moving your body can be used as a tool to change up your energetic state.
This is exactly what we are using in Rage Release Pilates π₯ getting that pilates burn, energy moving to the surface and letting go of anger π₯

I've been a bit quiet with my talk posts this week
I've been unwell with the cold/flu and have been taking time to rest and rest my voice
I didn't learn about this until I became a Pilates instructor- but I had a scare last year where I pushed through a sore throat and had a 2 month laryngitis. Vocal strain is real! So thank you to everyone who has helped cover my usual spots this week π grateful for the support π«Ά
My sore throat got me thinking about the Throat Chakra π©΅
This illness for me definitely was more a call from my body to rest- but sometimes these things can arise when we are suppressing our truth
Truth might look different for everyone. But expressing needs, expressing emotions is part of this. When people suppress this it can block up that throat chakra.

Honestly I love the taste of cacao π

If you know me, you know that I almost always have some kind of warm drink in hand especially in winter! I drink a lot of tea but occasionally we venture out to other plants steeped in warm liquid βοΈ

ππ INCOMING STRAWBERRY FULL MOON 29TH JUNE ππ
You don't even need to believe in the power of the full moon for this to be powerful π
In woo woo land (a place I'm visiting more and more lately π) full moons illuminate what might be hidden or unseen, reveal our truths π the perfect time to reflect and journal about what is coming up for us so we can continue what is aligned and change what is not
This upcoming full moon is themed around releasing what is no longer aligned in areas related to love and abundance
Whether you are into the spiritual side or not, the symbolism around this can still be so powerful. Making a monthly habit of sitting and reflecting on themes related to different areas of your life to move forward with more clarity is SO powerful πͺ
We are now halfway through the year, why not take this time to connect to your body, ground and connect to your wisdom, allow your truths to come to light and journal about how to move forward in a more aligned way π§ββοΈ time flies so being intentional is the best way to make sure you are living your life the way you want and getting the results you want for the rest of 2026 π

Welcome to all my new followers! I thought it was about time to do another intro post β¨οΈ I'm Daisy- the face behind Petal and Pose Pilates πΈ I run holistic pilates events and events will a focus on women's wellbeing π§ββοΈ
I have been working as a Pilates instructor running my own events, and teaching mat and reformer pilates and a range of studios across Perth for just over 1.5 years now π
I started my pilates journey when I was 16 years old. I followed YouTube videos on my bedroom floor at home before school π€ΈββοΈ I've practiced pilates on and off since then, but a few years ago I got really into it as focussing on Pilates classes really helped me through some big life transitions.
I have a background in nursing and still dabble in nursing- most of my nursing journey has been working with newborns/young children and new Mums πΆ my experiences have influenced my passion for supporting women's wellness as I have a deep understanding for the challenges women face in daily life physically, emotionally, spiritually π©·
I'm so passionate about bringing accessible movement to people as I truly believe movement is one of the best medicines, and good regular practices can help not only fitness but your holistic wellbeing πΈ
