We started UBX with one aim in mind: to give everyone the opportunity to train like a boxer. Our workouts are inspired by our co-founder, and four time world champion boxer, Danny Green, and combine a unique mix of boxing and strength training in an ultra-flexible format that removes class timetables and bookings altogether. Meet Alinta - the newest coach at UBX Margaret River 🥊⚡️

Most of you already know her, as she’s been a member since day one, and now she’s officially joining the coaching team.

With a background in running, CrossFit and strength training, Alinta brings the best energy to the gym and genuinely loves helping people train hard and feel confident doing it.

She’s especially passionate about women’s training, how it differs from men’s, and how hormones, age and women’s health can impact performance and recovery. Plus she’s an absolute weapon when it comes to strength and technique coaching.

We’re SO pumped to have her on the team. YEWWWW 🤝🔥

Katelyn’s Signature Combo //

Katelyn Hankin is our head boxing coach for Train Like a Boxer. Katelyn is one of our own UBX coaches - an amateur boxer, Australian boxing silver medalist, and former Golden Gloves champion. She has specially programmed a “Signature Combo” that will put the skills learnt throughout the challenge to the test.

This combo will be broken down by your coaches in gym throughout the challenge and in 1-on-1 padwork, with each movement and technique explained step-by-step during your workouts.

Make sure you check out Tuesday’s post for the first few steps of the combo breakdown, where we’ll help simplify the sequence and give you tips to make it easier to learn and practice!
