Last call: Free Range runs Tuesday morning and we've still got a handful of spots — if you've been meaning to book, this is your nudge.
For one morning, your 10–13 year old and their crew become bike couriers: map, radio, call-sign, run sheet. Parcels to find, jobs to run, a rival crew to keep up with, stripes to earn. The neighbourhood is their patch.
Wild to them, tight as a drum to us — a bounded, mapped patch watched the whole time, a radio on every crew, two of our people running it. Main roads are the walls; nobody crosses alone. Drop-and-go, not stay-and-watch.
Tue 7 July, 9am–12pm · Hilton Reserve, Beaconsfield · $85 · ages 10–13, capped at 12. Bring a bike and helmet or hire from us for $5.

There's a moment every parent recognises — the wobble stops, the pedalling takes over, and your kid realises they're doing it all by themselves. That's what Monday is about.
Learn to Ride runs these school holidays: small groups, real skills, and the confidence that comes with getting yourself somewhere on two wheels. Bikes and helmets sorted, always included.
Monday 6 July, 10.30am, at Baker's Square, Hamilton Hill, $25.
Spots are limited — book here:

🚲 A huge thank you to the City of Rockingham for having us at their Community Safety Event today as part of National Road Safety Week!
It was a brilliant day out — we set up a bike handling obstacle course with different challenge levels for young kids right through to teens, giving everyone a chance to test (and level up!) their skills in a fun, safe environment.
We also offered free bike safety checks on the spot, because a roadworthy bike is the best safety gear you can have. A few bikes got the nudge they needed to be road-ready! 🛠️
A big part of what we do is making cycling safer and more confident for the next generation — days like today remind us exactly why. 💛

🚲 Cottesloe Primary, we're a little bit in awe of you.
We were out at the school's Active Transport Fest today — organised by WestCycle as part of the Your Move program — running learn to ride sessions and checking over bikes. Great morning. But the stat that says it all? 80% of students rode to school. In the rain.
The kids were brilliant and the staff clearly put so much into making it happen. Congratulations to everyone involved — you should be really proud.
Thanks to WestCycle for having us along. 💚

🚲 We rode 8km yesterday and it was absolutely worth it.
As part of our ECU Ride to Uni project, funded by RAC WA, we joined staff and students on a ride to campus — because sometimes all it takes is one ride to realise how easy and joyful riding a bike to uni can be.
No traffic stress. No parking dramas. Just fresh air, good people, and two wheels.
If you're at ECU and curious about making the switch, this project is for you. Find out more here → https://peopleonbicycles.com.au/pages/ecu
Who else is ready to ride? 👇

What a morning! 🚲
We had the pleasure of delivering 60 bicycles to Richmond Primary School today for their Active Transport Fest — a fantastic Your Move initiative aimed at encouraging kids to ditch the car and embrace walking, cycling, scooting and public transporting to school.
We love being part of events like this. Wishing all the students, teachers and families a brilliant day full of fun, fresh air and happy legs! 🎉
And if you ever need a big fleet of bikes ready to roll at short notice — well, you know where to find us. 😊

Meet Jaya. 🚲
Not long ago, Jaya had never ridden a bike. Now? She's pedalling with confidence and riding away with a brand new bike lock to prove it.
Through our Learn to Ride program at , Jaya took a leap — and she nailed it. Watching someone discover they can do something they never thought possible is exactly why we do what we do.
You're an inspiration, Jaya. We're so proud of you! 🙌

🚲✨ Something pretty special is happening at ECU…
We’re proud to be partnering with RAC WA and Edith Cowan University to help more students and staff discover the joy, freedom and practicality of riding bikes. And honestly? Watching confidence grow pedal stroke by pedal stroke never gets old.
Through our ECU program we have been delivering:
🔧 Free bike servicing
🚴 Ride to Uni workshops
🛠 Learn to Fix sessions
💛 Learn to Ride programs for absolute beginners
Whether someone hasn’t ridden in 20 years, needs help fixing a squeaky bike, or wants to feel safer riding to campus — we’re there to support them.
Because active transport isn’t just about bicycles. It’s about healthier people, connected communities, reduced barriers, independence, sustainability and making movement accessible for everyone. 🚲🌏
One of the best parts? Seeing people realise:
“Hey… I actually CAN do this.”
Massive thanks to ECU and RAC for backing programs that create real behaviour change and make riding more approachable, inclusive and empowering for the community. 🙌
If you’re part of ECU and haven’t checked it out yet — now’s the time. There are a few more workshops coming your way next week at the Joondalup campus!
