Swan Valley Community Centre

It might be wintery outside, but it is cosy here!

With heating available in every room there is no need to stay home because of the weather, cosy up for some craft, stay warm whilst doing yoga and have a chat over a warm cup of coffee.

Whilst we would love a nice wood fire we don't want to be chopping the wood, luckily the heaters we have work really well too!

It is soup lunch time!

We are running it the same way as usual but there will be a little difference.

Tickets this year are $20 per person, book your tickets online and pay at the door.

This year if you bring a soup or dessert your ticket is free and you also get a $20 reimbursement to go towards ingredients, we always need lots of soups and desserts so we would love you help you be able to help us!

As usual we will need volunteers on the day to help make it successful, please let us know if you can help out for set up, during the event and for pack away.

A favourite part of the day is the raffle, please drop your prize donations in the office

Term Three kicks off today with Coffee and Craft, Art Group and Art with Lee.

Some of our members are starting new projects today for the new term!

The weather is cool but the heaters are warm, we look forward to seeing everyone back this week.

Term 3 enrolments are still open for Pre Kindy for children who have turned three and are attending Kindy at school next year.

Swan Valley Pre Kindy helps your child to get ready for school and get used to being away from you in a gentle way.

There is room in the Tuesday 12-2pm class or Wednesday 12-2pm class

Seeing everyone celebrate Community with our history display and catching up with old friends made the morning so much more special

What an amazing morning celebrating 50 Years of our lovely Community Centre. What started as Swan Ladies Friendship Group became Valley Learning Centre and the Swan Valley Community Centre as we are known today

With less than two weeks until we celebrate 50 years we need your help!

Do you know anyone who would like to attend? With old contact details, it is hard to let people involved in the centre in the past know that we are holding this celebration, so if you know anyone who used to attend here, came to playgroup or pre kindy, was on the committee or ran classes we would love if you can let them know about the day!
