Congratulations to our very own Jayden Goodwin on his selection in the squad that will travel to Chennai for the MRF Academy 🦁

Jayden will travel with Cricket Australia to India to gain vital experience in spin-friendly conditions, culminating in a pair of two-day games scheduled for August.

Having already built an outstanding first-class résumé, SFCC is thrilled for Jayden to further his development and bring those learnings back to Floreat Oval.

Go well, Gooders 🏏

We were saddened to hear of the passing of John Williamson last week, at the age of 92. John was a fixture at Subi-Floreat women’s games for over 10 years.

Introduced to the club by Kate Burns, he would catch the bus up from Rockingham every Sunday to watch the lionesses. Wearing his club shirt and baggy yellow, the sight of him waking across the ground on a Sunday morning was welcomed by all. He was quick with a hello to all the players and family, and was eager to meet any new players.

Even when he wasn’t able to get to the ground he would keep up to date with the scores, and was quick with a phone call to congratulate the players after winning a flag.

John is survived by his wife Wendy and family.

What a night to remember ✨
The Karen Read Awards didn’t disappoint, and neither did our girls 💪
Here are the awards we took home and some pics from the night.

To say Subi racked up awards would be an understatement… 🏆🔥
Congratulations and well done to every single award winner and everyone who represented the club on the night.

Here’s to an incredible season and even bigger things ahead!
