Hi my name is Lea
I've have qualifications in Business & Leadership support and have been a Scout Leader for 17 years where I've organised programs for kids from 6yrs to 11yrs exploring their interests, limitations and sometimes smashing those limitations that once held them back. Watching kids develop their own sense of self and confidence in themselves and achieving great things and giving tri
cky things a go is what makes me proud of them. I'm Police Checked, First Aid Compliant and have a current Working with Children's Card. I work as a mentor for students in various schools and have completed Module 2 in mentor training. I'm currently studying a Diploma in Counselling and look to continue my studies into a Bachelor of Psychology working with youth of all ages. Areas of interest are:

My Mentoring Program
Children at Risk are those that are at risk, emotionally, physically and socially. Which covers areas of anxiety, depression, English as a Second Language, difficult backgrounds,shy but not limited to these areas. It's a project that offers students to learn some life skills, challenge their own limitations, develop character and enhance their well being. There are many things I hope to work on with the students and my own aim to have them develop their own self worth. It's about those students at risk, having a sense of pride in themselves that they can and have the ability within them to strive for whatever they want to do in life. They all have the same opportunity as others do to be somebody that can accomplish greatness. Program includes:
* Activities - craft, construction, rope work, games, sports.
* Life skills
* Bush Craft
* Environment and Nature
* Challenges and Goals
* Building Confidence
* Cooking
* Teamwork
* Leadership skills
* Building self worth and expanding abilities
* Anti Bullying program
But most of all having fun in the process. We are a mate to help through the difficult times and a buddy through success and achievement when accomplishing challenges they never thought possible.
