300 games. Thousands of spoils. Countless fists. And somehow, opposition key forwards still haven't worked out how to get around him.

Congratulations to Stefan "Spook" Piruk on reaching the incredible milestone of 300 games for the Kingsley Cats.

Built more like a winger than a full back, Spook has spent his entire career taking on opponents much bigger than himself. With his pace, ridiculously long arms and perfectly timed spoils, he's made a career out of frustrating key forwards.

An 8-time Golden Fist winner and the the unofficial all-time leader in spoils in PFL history, it's hard to argue there's ever been a better defender. He’s earnt himself the nickname Dr. Fist for good reason.

Away from the contest, Spook is one of the club's great characters. His weird and wonderfully awkward sledges have confused teammates and opponents alike.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗜𝗦 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗦 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗔𝗦 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗕𝗢𝗗𝗬.

Kingsley Amateur Football Club is proud to partner with Take Charge Wellbeing to deliver an important mental health session for our players, coaches, volunteers and club community.

Mental health plays a significant role in how we perform, connect with others and navigate life's challenges. Just as we train our bodies to perform on game day, we should also invest time in understanding and protecting our mental wellbeing.

Presented by Darren Peterson from Take Charge Wellbeing, this session will provide practical tools and strategies that can be applied both on and off the field. Whether it's managing pressure and setbacks, building resilience, supporting teammates, balancing work and family commitments, or recognising when someone might need help, attendees will leave with practical takeaways they can use in everyday life.

Darren will also share his own experiences and insights, helping to start meaningful conversations around mental health and wellbeing.

This is an area receiving increasing focus across AFL clubs at all levels, and one that Kingsley is passionate about promoting within our community.
