Pack your passports - The Blue Machine are heading to Wales to tame some Red Dragons. Massive Friday night game of football on the cards.

Blues need an instant reply after being blown away midweek. Wrexham, identical to us at the moment, with 2 draws, 2 goals, and 2 goals conceded. Wrexham are a tough team to beat at home; the Racecourse is not a nice place to go to!

Blues need to be more ruthless today; we have looked a bit weak at times this season so far and don't look clinical in front of goal whatsoever. I think changes need to be made in the middle of the park and on the wings - crying out for a number 10, someone who wants to get the ball and drive it forward.

Tough game tonight; I would take a draw all day long, but with the crows circling the gaffer and squad at the moment, I think it's important the gaffer and players put in a big shift and bring home the 3 points.

Blues v Brentford

The League Cup comes to St Andrews and it is up to the Blue Machine to stop the sting in the Bees!

We actually have a very good record against Brentford, our last lost to them was way back in 2018, since then we have had 2 wins and 4 draws.

Brentford what can we say, they looked absolutely phenomenal at the weekend. Massive praise to this small club that have really raised the bar in English football to how far a tam can go on a compete with a smart business model.

Blues frustrations from the weekend need to be erased as Brentford will punish us. Will Davies move Stansfield back in the central role? If he does where does that leave Priske. We need to be on the front foot today, I would prefer to lose playing attaching direct football than tippy tappy 60% football.

Premier League opposition on the big occasions we have generally seen Blues play their best football so will we see another beast tonight?

Personally, I think we will be eliminated from the cup tonight, but I am looking forward to seeing how the team react to a superior team and if we can raise the bar.

Blues 2 - 2 Bristol City

Blues grab the point in the last few minutes!

Not a great game by the Blues, Bristol could have easily walked away with the 3 points!

They were more direct, when they went forward they looked a threat.

We were to stagnant in the final third, too many passes that created Bristol no problems.

We need to be more direct and ruthless!

Some tough games coming up so an improvement is needed!

A point is a point! We move on!

Blues v Bristol City

The Blue Machine return home and we are up against Bristol City.

A team whose number we have had now for a number of years, last years result ended in Blues winning 2-1.

Bristol tough start to the season, losing at home last week to Millwall. Decent team though on the road winning 65% of their away fixtures last season, so they will be looking to bounce back.

Blues better away from home last week, just couldn't finish Sheffield United off. St Andrews is our fortress and we will be well up for this today. Need to start brightly and get an early goal.

Tickets still going for this game which is a little disappointing, however, what matters is though those in the ground singing to the top of their lungs and making it a hostile atmosphere.

Blues if we want to be achieving play offs this season, need a solid win today. I expect us to see off Bristol but we need to be weary of the.

Sheffield United v Blues.

First game of the season and we're on the road as we face Sheffield United. What a day it will be, the sun is shining and the Blues on our way,

Play-off candidates this season, but I cannot see them getting promoted. Will be a tough game, nevertheless.

Blues, we know where we need to improve from last season - our away form.

Game could go either way; personally, I'd be happy with either a draw or a win to kick-start the season!

Safe travel to all the Blues traveling, enjoy yourselves and make the club proud as always!
