FC Dzongrig Perth came from a goal down to secure a memorable victory and book our place in the knockout stage.

Our youngest player, Pelden, found the equaliser in the dying moments of the first half, giving the team utmost belief and hope. Santosh then continued his fine form by scoring his 5th goal of the campaign before our captain Katay calmly converted a penalty to seal the win and confirm FC Dzongrig Perth's qualification for the knockout stage.

Every player showed tremendous grit, determination, and teamwork throughout an intense and entertaining match. The commitment, discipline, and fighting spirit displayed by the players captivated the audience and reflected the value of our club “FC Dzongrig Perth strives for victory but values sportsmanship”.

Respect Goes Both Ways.

We would like to clarify something following the recent comment on our post match result.

FC Dzongrig Perth designed and shared the poster simply to celebrate our players, recognise the efforts of both teams, and share the final result with the football community. There was absolutely no intention to misrepresent or disrespect Pala Pila FC.

We understand and respect that every club has its own identity, history and branding. If there was an issue with the use of the logo, it could have been communicated to us privately and respectfully, and we would have been more than happy to make the necessary correction.

What disappointed us was not the request itself, but the manner and tone in which it was communicated publicly.

We are all part of the same football community. We compete on the field, but respect should remain off the field. A simple message such as Please remove our logo as it is not our current/approved branding would have been enough.

At FC Dzongrig Perth, we believe in friendship, respect, dignity and integrity—values that should guide us both in victory and defeat.

Congratulations to both teams for the game, and we wish Pala Pila FC all the best for the rest of the season.
