One of the hardest things to learn in Krav Maga isn’t the technique.
It’s giving yourself permission to use your voice. Step forward. Take space. Be aggressive.
As women, we’re often taught the opposite: be polite, stay quiet, don’t overreact, don’t make a scene.
In Krav Maga, we practise breaking that conditioning.
Because when something goes wrong, controlled aggression can solve a lot of problems, fast.
And sometimes the biggest lesson is simply learning that you’re allowed to use it.

🔥 EXCITING NEWS: WA KRAV MAGA IS JOINING FEARLESS! 🔥
Next week, I’ll be stepping into something I’m incredibly excited to be part of.
I has been invited to deliver the self-defence component of FEARLESS, a women-only program by Populi Solutions, delivered in partnership with WISE Employment in Armadale.
Over six sessions across three weeks, participants will combine:
🥊 Practical, beginner-friendly self-defence
💪 Movement and physical activity
🧠 Allied Health workshops, CBT & mindfulness
🗣️ Confidence, boundaries and decision-making
The purpose of FEARLESS goes far beyond learning how to throw a strike.
It’s about helping women get active, rebuild confidence, develop positive routines and recognise what they are capable of as they work towards returning to employment.
And THAT is exactly the kind of self-defence I believe in.
Not creating fear.
Creating awareness.
Creating confidence.
Creating choices.
I’m genuinely proud that WA Krav Maga has been trusted to be part of this program, and I cannot wait to meet the FEARLESS participants next Tuesday. 🧡
Here’s to six sessions of learning, moving, laughing, getting stronger, and hopefully leaving each one feeling a little more FEARLESS. 👊

Every person who walks through our doors starts somewhere.
No experience. No pressure. Just practical skills and a supportive community.
Seeing my students wear the WA Krav Maga shirt with pride reminds me why I do what I do. 🧡

🚨⚠️MIDDAY TOMORROW⚠️🚨
Monday 27 July 2026
(12pm AWST)
A national test of Australia's new emergency warning system will be sent to ALL compatible mobile devices - phones, tablets, smart watches.
⚠️The alert will produce a loud warning sound and vibration, even if devices are on silent or Do Not Disturb.⚠️
For people experiencing family and domestic violence, unexpected alerts may impact safety, wellbeing or privacy.
If this may affect you or someone you support, now is the time to start planning and discussing options.
Please find out more about the alert and how you can plan ahead to protect your safety: https://www.ausalert.gov.au/community-resources/staying-safe-ausalert

Whether it's climbing the Empire State Building, heading off on an Australian road trip, visiting clients' homes for work, or simply walking to your car after dark...
Every decision we make comes with a level of risk.
Self-defence isn't about living in fear or avoiding every risky situation. It's about risk management.
✔️ Recognising what's around you.
✔️ Understanding the risks you're choosing to take.
✔️ Having a plan if things don't go as expected.
Because confidence isn't believing nothing bad will ever happen.
It's knowing you'll make better decisions if it does.
I don't teach people to "win fights."
We teach them to get to a safe place as safely as possible.

🚙 Before the adventure begins...
Today I had the pleasure of delivering a private travel safety session for three young women before they set off on an incredible road trip around Australia.
This wasn't about fear.
It was about building confidence, making smart decisions, trusting your instincts, setting boundaries, and knowing what to do if something doesn't feel right.
The goal isn't to stop you from exploring. It's to help you enjoy every adventure with a little more confidence and a little more preparation.
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your journey. I wish you an unforgettable trip filled with amazing memories, incredible landscapes and safe travels. 🧡
