🩷🥞 Pancakes with a purpose 🥞🩷

Today was all about building confidence, independence and real-world social skills.

We headed out for a pancake breakfast to practise the little things that make a big difference—using table manners, ordering politely, taking turns, waiting patiently, having conversations, and feeling comfortable in a busy public setting.

These two absolutely nailed it! 🌟

They were polite, respectful, encouraged each other and represented themselves beautifully. It’s amazing to watch confidence grow when young people are given the opportunity to learn these skills in real-life situations.

At Mumma’s Move & Fitness, we believe some of the most valuable learning happens outside the classroom. Every outing is a chance to build independence, friendships and life skills that participants can carry with them wherever they go.

We’ve had a mix-up with the Chillfest dates, so we’ve had to shuffle a couple of activities around in our July School Holiday Program.

Today we’re celebrating the youngest member of the Mumma’s family – our beautiful Atlas! 💙

What a year it has been watching you grow from a tiny newborn into the happy, curious little adventurer you are today. From your cheeky smiles and infectious giggles to your determination to explore everything around you, you’ve brought so much joy to everyone around you.

At Mumma’s, we often talk about supporting participants, but what we’ve built has always been about so much more than that. It’s about families. It’s about connections. It’s about creating a community where people genuinely care for one another and where friendships grow into something that feels a lot like family.

Atlas, you’ve been part of that journey from the beginning. You may be the smallest member of the Mumma’s crew, but you’ve already captured all of our hearts and reminded us what our Mumma’s family is really all about. 🥰

We hope your first birthday is filled with love, laughter, cuddles, cake, and plenty of special memories with the people who adore you.

After progressing through school cross country, district, and now competing at regional level today, Iris has once again shown her determination, resilience and dedication by qualifying for the next stage of competition! 🎉👏

We are so proud of the way Iris continues to challenge herself, work towards her goals, and give everything a go. Her commitment, perseverance and positive attitude are inspiring to everyone around her.

From early mornings and training sessions to pushing through tough races, every step has led to this moment — and it's so well deserved. 💜
