It’s been a big month for the Zoo Judo team. Let’s not forget our efforts earlier this month,

🏆 2026 Australian National Judo Championships 🥋

A huge congratulations to two outstanding Zoo Judo athletes who represented both NSW and our club with pride.

🥇 Timmy
• Australian Junior Boys Champion 🇦🇺
• Gold Medalist
• Selected to represent NSW in the
Junior Boys Team Event
• Helped NSW take home the
National Team Title 🏆

🥉 Momir
• Bronze Medallist in the Cadet Men
division
• A fantastic performance against the
country’s best young judoka

Results like these don’t happen overnight. They are built through years of hard work, discipline, consistency, sacrifice, and countless hours on the mat. Every training session, every win, every loss, and every lesson has helped shape these young athletes into the competitors they are today.

What makes us even prouder is not just their medals, but the way they carry themselves. Both Timmy and Momir remain humble, respectful, eager to learn, and committed to continual improvement—qualities that truly embody the spirit of judo.

Congratulations boys. Your Zoo Judo family is incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved. The future is bright, and this is just the beginning. 💚🖤

🥋 Juniors Grading – 1st April 🥋

Our junior grading was held on the 1st of April, and what a fantastic effort from all our little judoka!

They demonstrated their breakfalls, throws, and hold-downs they’ve been working on throughout the term — showing great improvement, confidence, and determination.

👏 Proud coaches, proud parents, and very proud of all our athletes!

🌟 But it wasn’t just about technique. They also learnt to improve -
