It is always a special moment when a boat is named after a member.
Ellie had a very successful season, claiming a bronze in the under 21 lwt single at the NSW Championships and then went on to claim three silvers at the Australian Championships. Along with being named in the NSW lwt quad squad (Victoria Cup).
These achievements at such a young age are a credit to her and we are looking forward to seeing her develop in the future.
Ellie was also awarded a club blazer in recognition of her achievements this season.

It was wonderful to celebrate the 2025/26 season yesterday with our rowers, families, friends and supporters.
It was exciting to present this year's awards which were all well deserved.
All of our rowers should be very proud of their achievements this season.

With our season officially over, it’s the perfect time to say thank you to our rowing program sponsors.

Your support throughout the season has played a huge role in our success, and our achievements would not have been possible without you. We are incredibly grateful for your commitment to our program.

We had six rowers compete at the NSW Masters Championships at SIRC on the weekend. With over 600 rowers competing there was some very strong racing and our rowers performed very well.
A big thank you to everyone who made the event possible. A special mention to the clubs that we raced with
Special mention to Jason and Daniel who teamed up with Newcastle and Newcastle Uni to win the A quad, four and eight with Elyse coxing the crew.
Jason also claimed silver in the pair with Al from Nagambie RC and a silver I the C eight with Black Mountain RC.
Fiona also teamed up with Lisa for Lake Macquarie to claim bronze in the Para double.
