The Queensland Athletics All Schools Track & Field Championships are happening 1st–4th October at QSAC, Brisbane — a fantastic chance to test yourself against some of the best school-aged athletes in Queensland.

Whether you qualified for the South Coast Team or just missed out, this is a great opportunity to keep competing, challenge yourself and gain valuable state-level experience! 💪

📍 Surfers Paradise Baseball — Sir Bruce Small Park
⏰ 8:00am – 3:00pm

⚠️ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS:

✅ Students MUST be nominated by their school Sports Coordinator
✅ Students MUST bring a signed South Coast Details & Permissions Booklet
✅ Please make sure all required paperwork is completed and ready for the trial.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️REGIONAL TRACK & FIELD – STUDENT/COMPETITOR INFO 🏅

A quick reminder for all competitors on the day:

📍 1. District Tent
• Sign in
• Hand in Permission & Details Booklet
• Complete Competency Form (if required)
• Collect wristband & District singlet

📢 2. Marshalling
• Go to marshalling when called OR at least 20 minutes before your event.

🏆 3. Compete
• No spikes are to be worn off the track/field arena.

📋 4. Check Results
• Check the results wall after your event.
• If your name is highlighted, head to the South Coast Team Room to register and complete apparel sizing.
• Take your pink ticket back to District Check-In.

🚪 5. When Leaving
• Check out at the District Tent.
• Return your District singlet.

⚠️ IMPORTANT
🚫 Students must NOT cross the field at any time during the day.
🚫 Students should only be on the track/field when they are competing.

Do you know a Year 10, 11 or 12 student who is using sport to make a positive difference in their school or community?

The Australian Olympic Change-Maker Program celebrates young leaders who embody the Olympic spirit through leadership, inclusion, respect and community impact.

✅ Queensland schools can nominate up to two students
✅ All nominees receive a certificate of recognition
✅ Winners may be celebrated with an Olympian school visit
✅ Selected finalists will have the opportunity to attend the National Summit

This is a fantastic opportunity to recognise and reward the next generation of leaders making a difference through sport.
