WARRIORS YOUTH LEAGUE AWARDS

A huge congratulations to two of our young Warriors who were recognised at last week’s Woodbridge Cup Presentation Night.

Rowdy Roberts took out Youth League Highest Try Scorer after a dynamic first year with the Warriors. A fitting reward for a player who never gives up, always puts in the effort and plays with plenty of heart and energy.

McCallum Cole backed it up for the second year in a row, taking out Youth League Highest Point Scorer. A sharp-shooting goal kicker who also knows his way to the try line.

Congratulations boys on a fantastic year and very well-deserved awards. You have both represented the Warriors with pride and shown what hard work and commitment can achieve.

RES POWER FOR GOOD WARRIORS OF THE WEEK

As we come to our final RES Power for Good Warriors of the Week for the season, it is only fitting that we recognise how much effort has gone in across the entire club this year.

Like every week, all our players have put in the work, represented the Warriors with pride and continued to turn up for their teammates. This week’s winners are very deserving recipients and a great way to finish off the season.

Congratulations to all of our Warriors of the Week recipients throughout the year. Every player who received the award should be proud of their contribution, whether it was on the field, at training, helping a teammate or simply giving their all for the Warriors.

A massive thank you to RES Power for Good for getting behind our club and supporting our players throughout the season. Your sponsorship has helped us recognise and celebrate the effort of our Warriors week after week.

Most importantly, thank you to every player who pulled on the Warriors jersey this year. There have been plenty of challenges, plenty of tough games and plenty of great moments, but you continued to show up and represent our club.

FOREFRONT FULLTIME

From Jack Huxley Oval, the curtain has come down on another Warriors season, and unfortunately, it is the end of the road for our 18s and Women’s teams for 2026.

While the results may not have gone our way today, there is so much to be proud of across another big year for our club. To every player who pulled on the Warriors jersey, thank you. Your commitment, effort, resilience and willingness to keep turning up is what makes this club what it is.

This season threw plenty of challenges our way. There were tough moments, setbacks and times when things didn’t go to plan, but we stuck together, kept moving forward and continued to support each other. That is what being a Warrior is all about.

A massive thank you to our coaches, managers, volunteers and committee who give up countless hours behind the scenes to keep our teams on the field. To our sponsors, your support allows our players and club to continue doing what we do, and we are incredibly grateful.

To our families, supporters and everyone who stood on the sidelines, travelled with us, cheered us on and backed the Warriors throughout the year, thank you. You are a huge part of this club.

And finally, to every single player across our 18s, Women’s and Men’s teams, thank you for representing the Warriors with pride. You have contributed to another chapter in our club’s story.

We have plenty to build on, plenty to learn from and plenty to look forward to.

The season might be over, but the work continues. We will keep growing, keep building and keep pushing forward.

We’ll be back next year bigger, stronger and faster.

ORANGE MOTOR GROUP OMG MOMENT OF THE WEEK 🏆

This week’s Orange Motor Group OMG Moment of the Week is a big one, and it goes to six of our young Warriors who have shown exactly what it means to answer the call when your club needs you.

Congratulations to Jye Walford, Lawrence Walford, Napoleon Lucas, Kaylum Edwards, McCallum Cole and Makydah Marsh, who have all made their First Grade debuts at some stage this season.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is the way these young fellas have handled the challenge.

Playing a full game of Under 18s and then backing up for a full game of First Grade takes plenty of fitness, commitment, courage and maturity. At a young age, these players have stepped into senior football, taken on the challenge and never backed down.

A big part of this opportunity has also come from our Captain-Coach Ethan, who wasn’t afraid to call on our young players when the First Grade side needed them. Ethan backed these young Warriors to step up, take their opportunity and show what they could do.

And they certainly answered the call.

Each time they have been asked to step up, they have put their hand up and represented the Warriors with plenty of pride. They have learnt from the senior players around them, held their own on the field and shown that they are willing to do whatever is needed for the team.

This is what building a club is all about.

Our juniors are the future of the Warriors. Giving young players the opportunity to develop, learn and eventually step into senior football is so important for the strength of our club.

And if these young Warriors are anything to go by, the future is looking very good.

Jye, Lawrence, Napoleon, Kaylum, McCallum and Makydah, you should all be extremely proud of what you have achieved this season. Your talent is obvious, but it is your attitude, willingness to learn and determination to have a go that really stands out.

Keep working hard, keep backing yourselves and keep learning from every opportunity.

In our last round game, we were proud to see two up and coming players from our Youth side make their First Grade debuts, Lawrence Walford and Kaylum Edward’s!

RES Power for Good Warriors of the Week

The first week of semi-finals is done and what a massive effort from every single Warrior who pulled on the jersey this weekend.

The intensity was high, the pressure was on and every player lifted when it mattered. It made choosing our Warriors of the Week a tough job because there were outstanding performances right across the teams.

A huge congratulations to this week’s Warriors of the Week and to every player who gave everything for their teammates and the club. You should all be proud of the way you represented the Warriors.

Unfortunately, it was the final game of the season for our men. While the result wasn’t what we wanted, the boys can hold their heads high after a season full of plenty of hard work, challenges and some great footy.

For our juniors and ladies, the journey continues! They are back again next weekend with everything on the line.

Forefront Full time from a freezing Oberon Sports Ground 🥶

It was a tough afternoon for our Junior Warriors, but the boys can hold their heads high after a cracking contest in some seriously cold conditions.

The Warriors found themselves down 16-0 early, but rather than letting the game slip away, they dug deep and fought their way back into the contest. The boys showed plenty of courage, determination and belief to bring the score back to 20-18 and put themselves right in the hunt.

It was an entertaining game right to the final whistle, with the Warriors unlucky not to find the line in the dying seconds. It just wasn't meant to be today.

Despite the result, there was plenty to be proud of. The fightback showed the character in this young Warriors side and the belief they have in each other.

Now we turn our attention to next week and an elimination game. One game at a time. One job to do.

Well done boys. Keep your heads up, take the lessons from today and get ready to go again next week.
