Rimal Mann - future 💫 ⭐

I first met Rimal at an academy I ran at The Lakes College.

Most recently, Rimal stepped up and played in The T20 comp ran by The Lakes Knights Cricket Club. Being the only girl in the team would’ve been a bit daunting for Rimal, but you wouldn’t know it. She stepped up big time and took an incredible 2/18 in the final. Helping her team win the final by 2 runs. Pretty fair effort for a 10 year old playing in an under 13s comp. Well done future star!! Very much worthy of a pair of Keenan Cricket grip socks!!

Massive congrats to Keenan Cricket regular Ekamdeep Singh Bhinder on being drafted to the Moreton Magic. It was a goal of Ekams to get drafted and play in the CenturyChampions League Cricket. Proud to see players achieving their goals. Even happier to see him go to my old franchise and play with players I drafted a couple of years ago. Go well team!!

This club continues to lead the way in opportunities for the children in our area and greater Brisbane. Won’t be there for day 1 but very proud, excited and looking forward to being there for day 2 of the tournament. Love watching children play cricket and having fun, so stoked to be asked to be apart of this. Thank you to The Lakes Knights Cricket Club, first class in everything you do.

⭐️ 2025-26 Community Cricket Awards ⭐️

The Lakes Knights Cricket Club exemplifies what a strong community-driven cricket organisation should look like. The club embraces all cricket pathways from Blast Cricket through juniors, women's & girls and then onto seniors while showing amazing community spirit by participating in external events, like Clean UP Australia Day. The club's family-oriented approach has reaped amazing rewards that has seen the number of participants increase by more than 500% over the past five years! The club also has a strong focus on volunteers and has a proven record of looking beyond just club interest and investing in the good of cricket as whole, particularly after assisting in saving a "rival" club teetering on the brink of collapse by preserving its history in a selfless and fair merger.

Massive congratulations to Sai Rahul for his selection to stage 2 for Anstey La Frantz, under 14s.

After missing out on 12s and 13s, Sai Rahul didn’t kick stones, didn’t make excuses, he just continued to work hard. He took on the advice “don’t get bitter, get better”.

I’ve had Sai Rahul with me since I started, and to see him achieve his goals… very very proud.
