Hey you, yeah you, you're finally awake
Get keen for a different kind of session tonight 👀 not your usual soft kit, this time we're also running an armoured session!

Polish your sabs and air out your gambo, get kitted up and train alongside our soft-kit members where we focus on Buhurt techniques. We ask members to please wear a long sleeve shirt or bring a jumper to put on top, as we may train inside the lyst!!

LADIES!!! As Elastigirl said "Leave the fighting to the men? I don't think so" and she's right!!

Wanted to be the lady in armour, stealing hearts, kicking butt, feeling good, strong, working with other amazing ladies as a team?

This message is for YOU!! At Team Basilisk our most senior (not age a few greys are showing but not senior old) female fighter is hosting a fems ONLY training session!! This post is to see the interest of any ladies who are interested in coming to try the sport but unsure. This session will be completely fems present!

This is open to all ladies, fems, they, thems. Time to show Albury Wodonga girl power!! No experience is required to come and join, you don't have to be fit, have been in armour, to have welded a sword either.

We will have the gym all to ourselves 26th of September, 9am-12pm, so this session is FREE to anyone new!! If you've got the kids with you bring them as well! We have a seating area they can chill at, unfortunately they cannot participate unless they are at least 16yrs old. Hope to see you there!!

Last night was an amazing session!! But it's also a good time to reflect on the more important question to ask your friends, family, coworkers, R U ok?

It's important to check in with people you care about, you don't know what they could be struggling with, what wins they've had or simply just needing a safe space to talk. Fighting is all about comradery, checking in with each other. You can't hop into the lyst without a clear head

So today I ask you to ask one person in your life today R U ok? As every knight has their worries and stresses

What a cracker of a day!! Another amazing Father's day market!! Our fighters, new and experienced, fight with great strength today!

Reminder: we will not be open to training tomorrow night, our fighters are resting up and we do not have access to the showgrounds, but we are open Wednesday night!

To anyone new to our page hello!! Welcome!! We hope to see you at training sometime! We will be running our Buhurt (team based) training Wednesday 6pm-8pm, first session is free!!!

Check out these guys dueling in longsword, we have our most experienced fighter Josh against a newer fighter Rossy who has fought a few times in armour!

The armour weights a whopping 30-40kgs as well as welding a two handed longsword, trying to get points with clean strikes, the head and torso are 2 points and everywhere else is 1 point

Reminder, tomorrow we are fighting it out at Father's day markets!! Come on down to Junction Square in Wodonga, from 9am we will be fighting the day!!

Come see the guys and gals in armour, the weather looks a little cold and cloudy but we will still fight!! Also get hyped for crowd involvement, grab the kids and let them have a go in our soft kit to battle against each other, mum, dad, siblings (the rivalry over who had the bigger slice of cake can be settled)
