🏑 Calling all hockey kids!

We’re excited to offer a 3-week U10 & U12 turf training program, starting Thursday 27 August at 5pm!

Develop your skills, learn the differences between turf and grass hockey, and get ready for next year’s U12 turf trials. Friends are welcome too!

Sessions: Pushing • Hitting • Trapping • Tackling • Ball Movement
Cost: $40 for all 3 sessions

Turf access will be limited from September, so don’t miss this great opportunity!

CALLING ALL COBRA KIDS 💜🐍
We are excited to be hosting U10 and U12 turf training sessions for players who are interested in trialling for our U12 turf team next year, or for those who simply love hockey and would like to further develop their skills and learn something new.

The program will run as a 3-week block, beginning Thursday 27 August at 5:00 pm.
To help cover turf hire costs, the fee is $40 for all four sessions. Please note that there is no option to attend individual weeks, as registration is for the full 4-week program.

Session Focus
Weeks 1 & 2
* Basic skills development
* Pushing
* Hitting
* Trapping
For players who have not experienced turf hockey before, it is quite different from playing on grass, making these sessions a great introduction.

Weeks 3
* Tackling techniques
* Ball movement skills

We would love to see all our Cobra players attend. Players are also welcome to bring a friend who may be interested in trying hockey for the first time.

We understand this is short notice. However, we are taking advantage of an opportunity to access turf time that has become available due to some older teams finishing their seasons earlier than expected.

Additionally, the Brisbane North Hockey Centre will be closed from 12 September until the end of December for a lighting upgrade. As a result, off-season turf access will be more limited, making this a valuable opportunity for our players.
