Col Johnson Shield - Junior 4 Way

The Col Johnson Shield (Junior 4 Way) was contested over the past weekend at the Gloucester Country Club against the other adjacent districts CCDGA, LNC and HRDGA

In a tight contest the NDGA took out the shield this year There were many close matches amongst all the teams with many going down to the 9th hole

Many thanks to the Gloucester Country Club for hosting us again this year on a magnificently presented course.

Many thank also to all the parents / grandparents for their support to this event

Thanks to the NHDLGA this year we have been running a Junior Girls Order Of Merit based on the stableford results and like the boys it is a close contest with 1 round to go

A good win to the NDGA against LNC over the weekend. Playing at Kew and Taree the NDGA won the Les Evitt Trophy 12-1/2 to 5-1/2 matches and the Junior Challenge Cup by 4-1/2 to 1-1/2 matches.in It was a close contest with many matches either halved or going to the 17th and 18th hole
