We’re excited to welcome Sakindu Wijerathne to the club!

A talented left-arm orthodox spinner and capable right-handed bat, Sakindu brings strong experience from Sri Lanka, where he took 27 wickets in a 7-match first-class season.

Since moving to Australia, he’s impressed with 20 wickets in 7 games for Buckley Ridges, along with recent appearances at Donvale.

A proven wicket-taker who adds great depth to the side — we’re pumped to have him on board 💪

🚨🚨 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨🚨

The Narre South Lions are thrilled to announce the signing of Damith Perera for the upcoming season!

Damith joins us after a 2 year stint at Hallam CC and also a previous 1 year stint at Greenvale CC in The Victorian Premier league. Damith is a classy left handed top order bat with serious power and precision. Damith is also one of the best glove man going around which will be a handy addition.

Damith had an outstanding 2 year period at Hallam CC where he made 1,210 runs in 31 innings at an average of 44.81. Which made him the leading run scorer in 2024/25 season in Turf 1.

Damith is a proven and very classy cricketer we can not wait to have Damith around the club passing on his experience to our young group coming through.

Please join us in welcoming Damith to the club.

Keep your eyes peeled with more signings to come.
